Beach Weirdness

Hey everyone!

So, where to start from…well, as I told you guys I’m at the beach right now – I think I told you, I’m not too sure about that – and ,personally, I hate the beach. I hate everything about it, the super hot temperatures, the damp weather, the sand, my hair getting super curly and all fizzy etc. I come here more or less every year , though I do tend to avoid it as much as possible, and every year I notice one thing: girls with expensive bags on the seaside. To be totally honest I don’t understand why you would want to ruin your pretty bag on the beach, today I counted 173 Louis Vuitton, 63 Balenciaga 45/47 (I’m not totally sure about two of them) Mulberry and so on. I would never EVER carry one of those to the beach, I mean, seriously, who would want it to get wet and full of sticky sand? Not me for sure.

Here are some alternatives I would suggest for a day - or more, if you can handle it - at the seaside:)

Allora, da dove posso iniziare..come vi ho detto al momento sono al mare in Versilia - credo di avervelo detto, in realtà non ne sono troppo certa - e, personalmente, io odio il mare. Odio tutto del mare, le temperature troppo alte, l’afa, l’umido, i miei capelli che diventano super ricci e crespi ecc. Vengo qua più o meno tutti gli anni, anche se cerco di evitarlo il più possibile, ed ogni anno noto una cosa: ragazze con borse super costose sulla spiaggia. Ad essere totalmente sincera non capisco chi mai vorrebbe rovinare la propria bella borsettina, oggi , per esempio, ho contato 173 Louis Vuitton, 63 Balenciaga, 45/47 Mulberry ( non sono sicura al 100% di un paio). Io non porterei mai e poi mai una di quelle bellezze al mare, cioè, seriamente, chi vorrebbe vederla bagnata o piena di sabbia appiccicosa? Io no di certo.

France, oh la la! (part one)

Hey everyone!

as I promised here I am again with a fresh new post! However, today I am not going to blab about fashion, no, today I’d like to show you some of the pictures I took during the past two weeks in France. Me being an Italian I was very sceptical about the country, I thought I was going to see the same things I see here in Tuscany, breathtaking landscapes, transparent blue sea and ancient buildings; eat the same food and smell the same scents. I thought all of this out of ignorance. Yes, France is one of the major producers of wine and cheese, and so is Italy, and also one of the leading countries in the fashion industry, but that doesn’t mean there’s no difference between the two countries. This said, I will stop trying to find a reasonable excuse to my ignorance.
I had an amazing time, the little towns we visited were absolutely gorgeous – we tried to avoid the chaos of the big cities – and I was also happy to spend some time with my family since as I said like a billion times I’ll be moving to London in September

come promesso eccomi di nuovo qua con un nuovo post! Oggi però non blatererò di moda, no, oggi vorrei mostrarvi alcune foto scattate durante le due settimane passate in Francia. Essendo io italiana ero molto scettica riguardo il paese. credevo che avrei visto le stesse cose che vedo quotidianamente qua in Toscana, paesaggi mozzafiato, mari di un blue trasparente e antichi monumenti; credevo anche che avrei mangiato gli stessi cibi e odorato gli stessi profumi. Credevo tutto ciò perchè, in poche parole, sono un’ignorante. Sì, la Francia è uno dei principali paesi produttori di vino e formaggio come lo è l’Italia ma questo non vuol dire assolutamente che non ci siano differenze. Detto questo la smetterò di accampare scuse nel tentativo disperato di salvarmi in extremis.
Mi sono divertita tantssimo, le piccole cittadelle che abbiamo visitato erano assolutamente magnifiche - abbiamo cercato di evitare il caos delle grandi città - e sono stata anche molto felice di aver passato del tempo con la mia famiglia perchè, come ho detto millanta volte, a Settembre mi trasferisco a Londra:)

Hey everyone!
sorry for the lack of posts recently but I’ve been away for the past couple of weeks; I went with my family to the south of France, a truly wonderful area!
Anyways, holidays aside, I’d like to share with you this editorial from the August issue of Vogue Italia, I’m absolutely in love with all of the pictures. I believe the model, Bianca Balti is gorgeous and sometimes reminds me of Sofia Loren when she was young Is it that weird?!

scusate per la mancanza di post ultimamente ma sono stata via queste ultime settimane, sono stata con la mia famiglia nel sud della Francia, una zona veramente stupenda!
Comunque, vacanze apparte, mi piacerebbe condividere con voi questo servizio di Vogue Italia, adoro tutte le foto dalla prima all’ultima! credo che la modella, Bianca Balti sia bellissima e mi ricorda un pochino anche Sofia Loren da giovane:) E’ tanto strano?
